The Door-Core metal door reinforcer is used to reinforce the hollow door, at the point where the lock is installed. The internal support eliminates the lock from loosening on the door and centers the latch or deadbolt control tube on the lock chassis. The centering function of the Door-Core eliminates disconnected actuator linkage. Door-Core will prevent foreign debris from falling into and fouling the lock mechanism and also guard the lock against "ice pick" attacks.

Door-Core is the only "metal" door reinforcer.
