The Squeeze-Play Hollow Metal Door Mortiser tool creates a square mortise in a hollow metal steel door, to accept standard square face lock or latch bolts. The standard mortise will accept a 2 1/4" x 1" or 2 1/4" x 1 1/8" square face bolt. Simply drill the holes, install the tool and tighten the bolt. Squeeze Play forms the edge of the door, creating the square mortise. There is no cutting or need for internal door bridges. Leaves a professional mortise to accept the bolt. Installation is fast, easy, and requires no additional parts.
